The Dream: An Annual Rockford Halloween Festival
The first event we’re trying to build is an annual Rockford Halloween Festival! Can’t you just imagine it? Downtown, maybe at the City Market pavilion: a costume 5k to kick off the day, coffee being served from a local coffee truck, and vendors all set up with their newest local products.
Plenty of fun Halloween-related things to do like have the kids trick or treat at all the vendor stands! Before you know it, you need to grab some food from one of the food trucks. Maybe even a locally brewed beer.
For now, this is strictly a vision — not an announced or approved event. Wish us luck getting all of our permits, and whether it’s 2026 or 2027, we’ll hopefully see you soon!
